About the event
I teach field classes for younger people, and when I tell people about it, I always get the response "you should teach that for adults!"
So... I am!
Deukmejian Wilderness Park is in Glendale, and close to many neighborhood in North East LA.
We will have group ice-breakers, species identification practice, sensory-perception activities, and some hands-on activities.
This is a great way to have some fun in the outdoors, learn about nature in a place-based way, and let yourself experience nature like a kid again.
The cost is $30 per person and there are 15 spots.
